We work with a large variety of clients. Clients seek our services for:
- Wealth Management
- Retirement Planning
- Educational Planning
- Inheritances
- Lump-Sum Retirement Plan Distributions
- Changes in Marital Status
- Estate Planning
Normally we work with clients who have an income over $125,000 and have investment assets significantly in excess of $100,000. One of our specialties is working with individuals who are planning to retire in the near future and are seeking counsel about an upcoming Lump-Sum Retirement Plan Distribution.
Nature of Client Relationships
We work with clients in a variety of ways, depending upon the client’s needs. Some of our clients only utilize our investment advice and brokerage services. Often clients ask us to look at their complete picture and retain us to be available on a continuing basis. A significant number of our planning clients also have us do the preparation of their tax returns. Some clients have a specific issue and seek our assistance on a project basis. Thus, dependent upon the client’s needs, we work with clients in the following ways:
- Investment Only / Brokerage Clients
- Project Planning Clients
- Continuing Planning Clients (Retainer Relationship)
- Money Management / Investment Advisory Clients
- Tax Consultation Clients
- Tax Preparation Clients
Ways We Work with Clients
For client relationships (involving advice other than the investment advice incidental to assisting with investments), we have a written client agreement or engagement letter that confirms the nature and extent of the work to be done, compensation, responsibilities of the parties, etc.
